Envisioning Nevada's Future

In this lesson, students are given the opportunity to propose an environmental justice campaign for a local issue area of their choosing. Students will use tools they've learned from previous lessons on mapping environmental justice and mapping resistance movements to inform their project proposal. Students will work in groups based on certain interest areas, where they will research their issue, draw up a proposal, create campaign artwork and, finally, present to their classmates.
