Palestine

In this lesson, students will be asked to share their knowledge about Palestine before listening to a read aloud of These Olive Trees by Aya Ghanameh. Following the read aloud, students will make connections between the story and the current genocide in Gaza. Ultimately, students will be able to analyze Palestinians' connection to their land and how the occupation of Palestine is a climate justice issue.
