Soil Exploration + Soil in a Jar Lab

In this lesson, students are invited to learn about the 4 main kinds of soil (makeup and composition): Sand, silt, Clay, LOAM. There will be a lesson portion, digging portion and an activity involving observation of soil in a jar to determine characteristics.
