Campaign Building Part 1
Resource Overview
Campaign Building Part 1
In this lesson, students are given the opportunity to propose an environmental justice campaign for a local issue area of their choosing. Students will use tools they’ve learned from previous lessons on mapping environmental justice and mapping resistance movements (see Module 3 ‘The Politics of Pipelines’ lesson) to inform their project proposal. Students will work in groups based on certain interest areas, where they will research their issue, draw up a proposal, create campaign artwork and, finally, present to their classmates.
