Global Climate Crisis

In this lesson, students are introduced to climate change and the disproportionate ways it impacts communities across the globe. Students will assess the major causes and effects of climate change, and discuss how profit-based systems largely owned and operated by wealthy nations cause harm to people, the environment, and most critically, the Global South. Students will learn from various youth climate activists about climate change issues and intersections around the world and will consider some solutions to begin to address climate change.
