Resource Overview
Land Justice
In this lesson, expands on students' understanding of environmental justice by comparing Indigenous perspectives of land and the environment to that of settler colonial views. Students will consider how the doctrine of discovery and 'dominion over nature' informs settlers' ideas about the environment, and will reflect on the ways it differs from traditional views of land.
