Mapping Environmental Injustice

In this lesson, students will examine what environmental justice is, the history of environmental justice, an introduction to civics, advocacy, social justice, definitions of key terms, and an overview of major environmental justice issues in Austin, Texas. Students will also learn about local initiatives and strategize on ways they can organize their communities to create meaningful change.
