Module 3 - Imperialism, Colonialism, and the Global Struggle for Liberation

In this lesson, students will be introduced to imperialism as a stage of capitalism and its implications for all people globally. If you have been to a protest in recent years, you’ve probably heard the chant “none of us are free until all of us are free.” But what does this truly mean in practice? All people on Earth are intertwined through our involvement in the global capitalist system. While many of us were forcefully incorporated into this system, we are all now linked to each other through global capitalism and imperialism.
