Sacred Water of Mother Earth

Every Earth month, we convene local Indigenous & POC communities to honor our sacred waters in Central Texas through storytelling, culture, and collective healing.

Sacred Waters was not just an Earth Month gathering. It was a strategic intervention in the fight for land, water, and cultural survival—led by those most impacted and equipped with ancestral knowledge: Indigenous peoples, youth, and frontline communities. The day began with a 2-to 4-mile prayer run and walk, followed by a storytelling circle, and community gathering. Activities included corn husk doll making, water testing, and storytelling led by elders and youth.
